CloverCast TTS is now built around a simple principle: text-to-speech should be useful without credits, paid voice add-ons or a separate provider account.
Free local voices
CloverCast discovers speech voices available through the creator’s device/browser and plays TTS locally.
System Default, Announcer, Tiny, Giant, Robot, Goblin, Helium, Whisper, Old Computer and Dramatic presets provide quick voice styles through rate and pitch changes.
There are no TTS credits or required cloud-provider API keys.
Where it goes next
The architecture can grow into downloadable local Voice Packs when voices have suitable commercial redistribution licences.
CloverCast will not bundle random celebrity clones or voices without clear redistribution rights.
